Forest Bathing and Food
This unique experience will enhance any retreat or nature-centric event. We continue to exist because of the nourishment provided by the beings around us. Intaking food and having the food turn into our cells and tissues is a remarkable experience. We give back to the vegetation around us by breathing out CO2 and moisture. In this way we are feeding each other. During our time together in a Forest Bathing and Food Experience, we will connect with ourselves, the more-than human world that surrounds us, and each other.
Registration Includes: A light, vegetarian charcuterie style meal. Please make sure you bring a water bottle.

FOR VETERINARIANS:
How Yoga Philosophy can help you be a better veterinarian and gain more peace in your life Teresa is also a veterinarian, graduating from the University of Minnesota in 1998
As veterinarians, we are trained to be analytical. This skill is necessary when examining a patient and assessing their radiographs and lab work or analyzing farm data. However, the traits necessary for being a good diagnostician sometimes don't transfer over to personal relationships in a successful way. Veterinarians sometimes succumb to frustration and negative ruminations when they are trying their hardest at work and life. The purpose of yoga is to decrease fluctuations of the mind. This session introduces participants to the 8 Fold Path of Yoga and may ultimately start you on the path to healing.
Session Length: 2-2.5 hours of lecture +/- 30 minutes of movement
